Gorilla est une figure hybride composée d’une tête de gorille sur un corps d’homme. Les têtes animales de mes figures hybrides ne cachent pas les corps humains qu’elles prolonges, il ne s’agit pas de masques. Têtes et corps ne font qu’un, les corps sont entièrement habités par l’animalité et les têtes animales sont empreintes de l’humanité du personnage.

Le grand gorille fait partie des espèces menacées par la réduction de territoire et l’avancée inexorable de la déforestation. Malgré sa puissance physique, c’est un être doux et végétarien qui vît en totale harmonie avec la nature. Ce gorille pousse un cri d’alarme, il nous crie « STOP », arrêter de massacrer la terre et de vous entre-tuer..

Gorilla is a hybrid figure composed of a gorilla head on a man’s body. The animal heads of my hybrid figures do not hide the human bodies from which they extend, as they are not masks. Heads and bodies are one, the body is completely inhabited by the animal nature, and the animal heads are stamped by the individual’s humanity.
The large gorilla is among the species threatened by shrinking territory and the inexorable advance of deforestation. Despite its physical power, it is a sweet and vegetarian creature that lives in complete harmony with nature.
This gorilla is emitting a cry of alarm, he is crying to us “STOP,” stop massacring the earth and stop killing yourselves.
